"A valid license to run Hatch Embroidery Software could not be found. The HASP driver may need to be updated."

This issue can be fixed by reinstalling HASP drivers. Please follow the instruction below to fix the issue.

  1. In File Explorer, go to “C:\Program Files (x86)\Wilcom\Hatch Embroidery Software V1\BIN” folder
  2. Select and Copy files, “HASPDINST.EXE” and “haspdinst.cloud.exe”
  3. Paste it in “C:\HASP” folder
    Note: you need to create a new folder of “C:\HASP”
  4. Run cmd by Run as administrator
    i) In case you have Windows 10,
        a) Right click on the Windows “Start” button
        b) In the right click menu, click on “Command Prompt (Admin)” menu
        c) Click on OK button in the warning message to allow it to run
    ii) In case you have Windows 7,
        a) In Windows run box, type: cmd
        b) under Programs, right click on “cmd”
        c) In the right click menu, click on “Run as administrator”
  5. In the cmd box, type command line (You may copy/paste it in the cmd box):
    C:\HASP\haspdinst –r –purge
  6. Hit “Enter” key
    Note: seconds later, it says it ran successfully.
  7. In the cmd box, type command line (You may copy/paste it in the cmd box):
    C:\HASP\haspdinst_cloud –r –purge
  8. Hit “Enter” key
    Note: seconds later, it says it ran successfully.
  9. In the cmd box, type command line (You may copy/paste it in the cmd box):
    C:\HASP\haspdinst_cloud -i –kp
  10. Hit “Enter” key
    Note: seconds later, it says it ran successfully.
  11. In the cmd box, type command line (You may copy/paste it in the cmd box):
    C:\HASP\haspdinst -i –kp
  12. Hit “Enter” key
    Note: seconds later, it says it ran successfully. At this point, the reinstalling HASP driver procedure is done. Now, please try to run Hatch again.
