Error acquiring License Client (1010)

If you experience the (1010) error message as shown in the image below, please follow the simple steps to fix your installation.

Error 1010

1) Open Device Manager
   i) For Windows 10 users
      a) right click on the Windows “Start” button
      b) In the right click menu, click on “Device Manager” menu

   ii) For Windows 7 or 8.1 users
      a) click on the Windows “Start” button
      b) in Windows run box, type in:  device manager

2) Click/highlight “Network adapters”

3) Click “Action” in the top menu

4) Click “Add legacy hardware”

5) Click “Next” 

6) Choose “Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced)”

7) Scroll down and highlight “Network adapters”, click "Next

8) Highlight “Microsoft” on the left

9) In the list on the right, scroll down and highlight “Microsoft KM-TEST Loopback Adapter”, Click "Next

10) Click "Next" to install the Microsoft KM-TEST Loopback Adapter

11) The installation should complete successfully. Click "Finish"

Now you can RESTART Hatch Embroidery Software and attempt to sign in again.
