FREE Software Update for Hatch Embroidery 2 Users

Enhanced features & new fonts for Hatch Embroidery Digitizer 2

Please note: This free update is for Hatch Embroidery 2 users only. Some of the features listed are for specific Hatch Embroidery levels. If you would like to add a feature, please upgrade your software today.

New Functionality in Redwork

Determine your Redwork start and end point even when you have a non-Redwork object before or after.

When you digitize Redwork and then apply closest join, Hatch Embroidery will now ignore the closest join. This allows you to keep the entry/exit points just as you placed them in the Redwork.

I have a brother innovis v3 and it is still not on the machine list, nether are the listing of the correct hoops and you can't edit the data on the hoops that are put in as standard. Please advise.

Hi D, Hatch has the great capability to add your own machines and hoops. You don’t need to wait until your machine is added. See how easy it is to do here:

Congratulatiins but have same problem... have innovis v3 and still not in the list. And waiting for importing SVG draws ... lot of graphic programs like Illustrator generate SVG formats. Will be a version for mac some when in the future? I still need to use parallels.

Hi Pablo, Please email regarding your request for importing SVG and a Mac version and they'll add it to the wishlist. The more requests product management receive, the quicker they'll make it happen. :)

Yes, I agree. A Mac version would be wonderful. I think graphics on Mac is much nicer. Thanks for the upgrade.

Danke

I have checked for updates several times, both before and after Hatch opening, and continually get a dialog box stating no updates are available. Are the updates being distributed by regions?

Hi Melody, are you using Hatch Embroidery 2? If yes, you can try downloading it from here: If you still have problems, please email

I bought Hatch during its first few months of launch, and love it so much. But I feel like it's kind of unfair to us the early supporters to pay for $199 to upgrade to Hatch 2.0, while the later buyer could get Hatch 2.0 without any additional charge. $199 is a lot (almost RM850). Why don't we get free upgrade to Hatch 2.0 as we recognize Hatch before its 2.0 ?!

Hi Munie, so glad to hear you love using Hatch. :)

Regarding your comment about the charge for the update, it is the nature of retail. You buy a car, you use it for a number of years, then a new model comes out with improved and better features and people will buy that new model for the same price you paid for yours. But if you want the new car, you will have to pay the full amount for it, the manufacturer will not give it to you for free. You will sell your old car and get some money for it, so the new car will cost you the difference. It is very similar in our case. We charge $199 and you get a whole lot of really amazing new features, tools, fonts and improvements. It is actually a very reasonable amount for it all. We do offer quite a few free updates in between versions like this current 2.1, but the major new version releases will be paid ones.

Thanks for your reply. But software is not comparable to a car. Software doesn't degrade, unlike a car. MATLAB offers free upgrade once you have a full license, with more advance toolboxes and more complicated features. Why can't Hatch?

Well, I might be misunderstood the whole thing. Can you clarify:

When a new user buy Hatch Digitizer for $1099 now, to date, did he/she get Hatch 1.0 or 2.0?

- If he/she got 1.0, then no problem at all. Because the new user will also need to buy for an upgrade.

- If he/she got 2.0, that's the unfairness I was trying to address.

Hi Munie, If you purchased Hatch 2.0 then 2.1 was free. I have Hatch2 and it updated without a fee.

Hi, I have tried to upgrade my Hatch 2, but with out success. I got the following error message:

"The server returned an invalid or unrecognized response"

What do I need to do to upgrade.

It says above "For more information, read the Release Notes" but that link puts me back on this page. I would like more info about the PES updates. When I make an applique and tell it to do a machine stop, will it actually make my multineedle stop?

Hi, I purchased Ver 1 (V1.0R) and I came well and truly unstuck but that is in the past.

What I am wanting to know if I upgrade too Ver2, Will I be getting V2_OD or will I get V2"_1D.

Or is that going to be a further Upgrade I must shell out for??
