Robert Smith appointed as Director Wilcom Pty Ltd’s UK based trading subsidiary, Wilcom Europe Ltd

United Kingdom: January 28, 2016 –Wilcom is delighted to announce the new appointment of Robert Smith as Director of Wilcom Pty Ltd's UK based trading subsidiary, Wilcom Europe Ltd.

Robert brings a great level of experience to the UK business through his many years working within the embroidery industry.
When asked about his views on the business strategy, Robert responded “I have witnessed many of the key developments in the embroidery industry over the past 16 years. During my time working for Wilcom, I have always viewed them as market leaders in the embroidery software industry. This is based on their strong sales channels within commercial markets as well as key partnerships delivering software solutions for hardware giants Bernina and Janome in the home sector.

We see a fantastic opportunity to expand further into the online market by utilizing the strength Wilcom has through its brand profile and digital footprint. Our new advancements using online and API development tools will allow us to better exploit opportunities through mobile, tablet and various social media channels. Together this will enhance the user experience by streamlining both the design and creation tools as well as improve our order and quotation process.”
